Dual-Sensitivity Design, More Comprehensive Protection
S1 Sensitivity: The default setting, ideal for stable monitoring in normal environments, reliably detects combustible gas concentrations down to normal operating levels, balancing false alarm rates with fast response times.
S2 Sensitivity: Enabled in open spaces or when higher sensitivity is required, it enhances combustible gas detection sensitivity, ensuring early warning of potential risks.
How to Choose and Set Up
First Time Use: The device defaults to S1, suitable for most home environments.
If higher sensitivity is required, go to Settings and switch to S2. S2 is recommended for open spaces or areas with high gas usage.
Example Usage Scenario
Scenario A: Maintain S1 mode during daily cooking to avoid frequent alarms. However, it automatically switches to a higher sensitivity range when using high-risk gases for safety.
Scenario B: In an open living room or balcony area, if you need enhanced early detection of combustible gas, switch to S2 mode to reduce potential hazards.
Scenario C: In a bedroom at night, maintain the default S1 mode to ensure continuous monitoring and stable alarms in a quiet environment.
