How to Calibrate a Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) Monitor

eric huang |

Calibration Environment Preparation:

Select a clean, airy, and pollution-free environment (preferably outdoors). Keep the area away from people during calibration and avoid any disturbances.

CO₂ Monitor Calibration Methods:

① Product Self-Calibration: Most monitors have a self-calibration feature. Refer to the product manual to enter the calibration screen. The monitor will automatically adjust to the CO₂ level in the air and adjust it to the appropriate level for the monitor's environment.

② Product Manual Calibration: Some monitors offer manual calibration; please follow the product manual.

Note: Regular calibration is recommended every 3-6 months. If the monitor is frequently operated in a closed environment with high humidity or high concentrations, recalibration is recommended every 1-2 weeks in a well-ventilated area.

Common Precautions:
① Avoid calibration in environments with extreme temperatures or humidity.
② Avoid exposing the monitor to fumes, smoke, or other sources of contamination.
