Very helpful

This has really stepped up my gardening game to help me figure out issues within my garden and how to fix them.
I have also used it on potted plants, soil in a raised garden bed and planted right into the ground.

Tested areas that are close together and got the same readings. Tested other areas with less water, readings changed.

I really like this little tester. It works well, is user friendly and helpful.

I‘m an expert gardener now!

Very easy to use. I had to look up what some of the readings meant, but a quick Google search sorted that. I feel that I know something about gardening now! Overall very good VFM.

Garden metrics meter

This is an excellent multimeter for plants, and with different meters for moisture, light, lumens alkaline, and overall soil fertility. Kind of essential if you are working in Garden space or plots, with mixed spots that required soil testing.

Very valuable tool for everyday gardening, both indoor and outdoor.

Just received it and tested in fe plants. The pH reading, Moisture, temperature seems to reflect very well expected levels. The “Nutrient" number is based on soil conductivity and shouldnot be treated as absolute.Anyway, it is a valuable tool for gardening, especially like in my case, to ensure proper soil acidity for the Blueberries.
By checking some of my indoor plants I realized that few needs some pH adjustment.
I hope it will last!

Very accurate!!

I love this. I have an orange tree that I grew from seed, and it was doing poorly. I got this meter and realized that it was drying out much faster than I thought.

Great meter for hobbyist

The overall build is fine for the price, nothing fancy, but solid enough. I like that it measures everything at once (moisture, pH, fertility, temp, light, and humidity) and that the screen is easy to read, even in sunlight. There’s no real manual or “how-to” guide included, so you need to know roughly what values to look for yourself.
A quick note about the light readings: it shows lux, not µmol/m²/s (PPFD). That’s because true PAR sensors are much more expensive, and at this price point it’s normal to see simple lux sensors instead. Still, you can estimate photosynthetic light using these rough conversions:

Sunlight: 54 lux ≈ 1 µmol/m²/s
Cool white LED: 70 lux ≈ 1 µmol/m²/s
Warm white LED: 75–80 lux ≈ 1 µmol/m²/s
HPS lamp: 105 lux ≈ 1 µmol/m²/s
So, for example my hydroponic LEDs are 15 000 lux of sunlight is about 214 µmol/m²/s, and that matches my PAR meter readings.

An affordable little meter that has a lot of features

This is a great little meter to check the different spots in your garden or house to see what qualifies as “full sun", "partial sun", etc. It‘s great for registering the soil humidity too (to check for over/under watering, and with the "fertility" setting (which checks the conductivity of the soil, giving a basic reading of dissolved nutrients, you can tell if your plant babies are hungry or not. It's pretty awesome all in all. I can't vouch for its absolute accuracy, but it's better than guessing.

Super helpful to understand my new home/garden

I ordered this because this year we just moved into our new home and have been learning some tough lessons when it comes to our yard, and it‘s lack of good soil. This helps take some of the guess work out of it(previous guess work involved costly death of plants).
Okay first and foremost I was interested in the PH measure because it will helpful for next season plant things properly where they will thrive and/or adjust where necessary. Did I know that this mattered before this season? No, but I will be taking this data in planning for next season particularly when it comes to planting my strawberries, tomatoes and hydrangeas.

Temperature of soil is also a big one for me as I live in the Calgary area where our planting season tends to start late. Moisture is obviously important in determining which plants will fair the best in that particular area and the soil fertility was super interesting as I will definitely be needing to invest in some more fertilizer soon.

Overall this is a great tool to have to better understand a garden and where things will thrive most. I found it straight forward and easy to use and I went to google or chat GPT to help interpret the results and what actions that required of me.

Another important measure

Perfect for the Gardner in the house.

With the 6 in 1 soil tester by Lsenlty, you can feel more confident in your gardening skills both indoors and out. It has the capacity of measuring the soil fertility, which is the capacity that the ground is fertile to sow crops and flowers a much needed and important part of more and more people‘s lives because more of us are planting our own fruits and vegetables like we used to back in the 70's and 80's knowing exactly how they are grown and fertilized. An unknown fact is that we only have currently 60 years of fertile soil left to feed the world. Composting, the use of natural fertilizers and the addition of nutrients to your soil will help increase this low level and allow you to experience greater produce yields from the soil you are sowing. It can also identify the PH value, soil temperature, light and environmental humidity detection which is important for succulents and other plants like tropical plants which can be used to naturally dehumidify your home, potentially remove airborne mold through natural air purification and grows great in places like your bathroom. NOTE: DO NOT CLEAN THE PROBES WITH WATER, JUST WIPE CLEAN USING A SOFT CLOTH OR PAPER TOWEL. The probe has an easy to read digital display and is able to display both °C and °F temperatures. Become a better gardener and increase your yield by simply understanding what your plant needs.

A great step up for plant lovers wanting to go beyond the basics

I‘ve mostly used moisture meters before, so this 6-n-1 tester is definitely more advanced than I am used to. After using it a few times though, and doing some light research, it's actually been super interesting and helpul.
I've started to get a better sense of what my plants actually need, and it's helped me to rethink things like fertilizer timing and lighting. It's easy to user, and the screen is clear and readable.

For around $30 it's a solid buy - I'd say it's probably best for folks who are ready to go a step beyond casual plant ownership, but not overly complex if you're curious and willing to poke around a bit. Definitely a cool tool to have in your plant care lineup.

Works fine.

Works as stated - no issues, seems accurate for all measurements. I don‘t know why people talk about taking measurements in plain water when the instructions specifically say not to do that!

Super Handy and Surprisingly Accurate!

This soil meter is one of the best tools I’ve added to my gardening setup. It gives clear, quick readings for everything I need—moisture, pH, temperature, sunlight, humidity, and even soil fertility—all in one device. I love that it has a backlit LCD screen, which makes it super easy to read even when I’m outside in bright sunlight.
The moisture and pH readings have been especially helpful for keeping my indoor plants healthy, and I’ve also used it in my outdoor garden to figure out which areas need more water or nutrients. It’s helped me avoid overwatering and over-fertilizing, which used to be a constant struggle.

The build quality feels solid, and it doesn’t feel flimsy like some cheaper meters I’ve tried. Plus, the instructions are easy to follow, and it starts working right out of the box.

If you‘re into gardening or even just want healthier houseplants, this tool makes things so much easier. It’s like having a full soil lab in your hand. Definitely 5 stars from me!

No more dirty fingers

I used to check the soil by plunging my finger a couple inches into the top of the bed to see what it‘s like under the mulch and surface. It wasn't super accurate, it was messy, and it wasn't exactly pleasant to do either.
I haven't validated the PH, but the moisture and temperature readings seem on point.

Definitely handy

Accurate quality garden tool at a good value

This is a good soil measurement tool at a decent price. I have found the readings consistent which makes me comfortable with the readings. It is very easy to use. It requires AAA batteries which are included. Yes, you need to unscrew the back to put them in (with the included screw driver) but you would not being doing that very often as this is not an every day tool. The PH level of my garden is good (7) and that will not change for the season, so I won‘t need to check that again till next year. I also only need to know the temperature when planting same with fertility. That is why I like this product. For a tool that I need, but will not use often, it is a good price and does what it is supposed to, and is of good quality.

Really interesting device, just not sure if I can check accuracy

This is an interesting little unit.We have lots of plants and trees outside and some of them are doing better than others. In particular, I wanted to figure out why one of our larger trees wasn‘t doing so well. This soil meter seemed like it would at least help guide us.

It's a small unit powered by 2 AAA batteries. On that note, it does have a small screw holding the battery compartment closed and it does come with a tiny screwdriver to open it. I'm not sure why it couldn't have been designed without it. The description states it is water resistant but I'm not 100% sure. I'm a bit nervous exposing it to the elements and have just been using it ad-hoc for now.

The LCD display is actually extremely sharp, more than expected and the green backlight makes it very easy to read. This type of screen works very well outdoors even in sunlight. The screen shows multiple values including pH, soil temp, soil moisture, sunlight (using a lux sensor) and outdoor humidity.

The sensor uses two long metallic probes that are inserted into the ground. While it worked easily in soft and wet soil, I struggled pushign it into dry soil without starting to bend the probes. I was afraid I'd damage the device so stopped using it in very dry/hard soil conditions. The build quality is 'OK' overall but the two probes are the definite weak spot if pushed too hard.

I can't comment on the accuracy of the device, which in retrospect makes any decisions I make based on it potentially problematic. Still, I don't have anything better available so will have to use this for now. These types of devices work by using an electric current between the electrodes. Some of the more basic ones that only show soil humidity only have one electrode, but this one has two. I assume that's how it makes some of the more advanced measurements like pH.

The one measurement I'm not sure about is soil fertility. There is no indication on how this value is sensed or calculated and I wonder if this is useless information or inaccurate. I'm not even sure how I would even check. In any case, I'm not using this value to adjust watering or pH so it's a moot point.

Overall it seems like it's a very useful device for gardeners, I'm just not sure if I can trust the readings enough to make actual changes to a plant's environment. If it's just for curiosity then sure, this is an amazing buy and definitely fun checking soil conditions for all your indoor and outdoor plants.

Fast, Easy, Accurate, Helpful.

A great little product for making sure you‘re not drowning or dehydrating your poor little plants! I've got multiple pots that should be kept at different levels and this is great for that - just make sure you clean and dry the spokes in-between tests. The backlit display starts working immediately as soon as you press the on/off switch (it comes with the two triple-A batteries you need and a tiny screwdriver - REALLY tiny - I dropped mine, oh well) and the testing buttons are big and obvious on the front of the screen. I like how the spokes can pivot away from the body of the tester so that you can angle it up to read it properly as opposed to just being stuck straight up-and-down like the photo shows. Overall very easy to use and understand.
